More Investment and Clean Energy Jobs Are Headed to Illinois

On September 15, 2021, Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker signed historic clean energy legislation into law. SB 2408 will bring billions of dollars in investment and thousands of clean energy jobs to Illinois.

Known as the Energy Transition Act, this landmark legislation sets ambitious climate goals for the state. It pledges that Illinois will use 100% clean energy by 2050, and 40% by 2030.
